Salon Fresh began trading in 2003. With Lisa's dream to be a hairdresser, at 35 with a growing family she purchased the business with only a bookkeeping administrative background. Lisa hired her first staff member a qualified hairdresser of 20 years and began her apprenticeship and hair journey within her own business.
Lisa's passion for customer care and the hair industry, quickly turned the salon into a local favourite. As the salons clientele grew, so did the Salon Fresh team of talented stylists. Soon enough, the Fresh Team outgrew their little space on Anderson Street, and relocated to a bigger space at 12 Wembley Avenue, the place we all know and love today. The new location was more than just a salon; it became a hub for creativity, style, and relationships - 21 years later, Lisa has mentored and nurtured many stylists and apprentices. with four of them having their own business' within the community. This is one an achievement Lisa is very proud of.
Lisa's true passion has always been more than just business—it’s about people, hair, and the magic that happens when the two come together. She has built a reputation on employing a team that works cohesively who are compassionate and creative. And so, the story of Salon Fresh continues, with myself at the helm, leading with passion, skill, and a deep love for the craft.
